SoloStar is Tribest's single auger juicer line, which means the machine uses one gear to "chew" the fruit (as opposed to two augers in a twin-gear).

Although a single auger will produce a slightly lower yield of juice, the quality is exactly the same as a double-auger juicer. Furthermore, the single gear allows the motor to run at a lower speed (80 RPMs) and therefore retains more valuable enzymes. A slightly lower extraction rate, but possibly healthier juice... sounds like a great trade-off to me!
