I just found your blog through Google blog search. I just started an alkaline diet (lost 5 lbs in 6 days so far!! 11 to go.) and I am planning to buy a masticating juicer. Money is tight right now, so I figured I’d try to win this one since I can’t afford one for a while. Thanks for the amazing giveaway! I have had centrifugal juicers in the past, but I hear the masticating one is great and will do herbs and wheatgrass.

4 apples (preferably red)
Handful of strawberries
1 banana
Juice apples and strawberries together, then use blender to incorporate banana.

My tip of the day… You can juice fresh tomatoes and other vegetables and use it as a base for soups. Cold soups that haven’t been cooked (such as gazpacho) are especially beneficial.

Sorry to comment again, but I was researching the Green Star 1000 juicer, and I was wrong about it being a masticating juicer. It’s actually a twin gear juicer with is far superior. Fantastic!
