Immune Boost

This recipe makes an juice that is great for strengthening your immune system. The ingredients are an excellent blend of selenium, carotene, vitamin c, vitamin e and zinc- all immune boosters! Drink this regularly to help avoid colds or the flu! 

Ingredients:

  • 1 handful of watercress
  • 1 turnip
  • 1/2 Granny Smith apple (whole)
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 cloves of garlic (raw, peeled)

Directions:

  1. Wash and slice above ingredients to a size that is suitable for your juicer
  2. Juice carrots slowly throughout the recipe (try to begin with carrot, add more throughout, and end with a carrot piece- it is easier on your juicer and will avoid clogging).
  3. Juice all ingredients, attempting to alternate soft and hard.
  4. Serve immediately and store remainder in an air-tight container.
