They use two gears to slowly chew at fruit (or veggies or roots!) and extract delicious juice. Since the motor does not run too quickly (only 110 RPMs), its juice is still very high quality with all of its enzymes and other beneficial ingredients. This is because heat and air exposure allow valuable nutrients to escape from juice (oxidation) but the low motor speed means the juice does not get heated.

It comes with different screens so you can juice with different levels of pulp, a homogenizing blank, and attachments for making pasta and breadsticks. However, if you don’t think you’ll be making much homemade pasta, I would suggest the Green Star 2000. It has a few different screens to still provide juicing variety!
