Green Star juicers are cold-press, masticating juicers. Their innovative technology uses a process that preserves almost all the nutrients in the fruits and vegetables while still producing an extremely high yield of juice. The low speed process (110 RPMs) ensures juice is not heated and therefore avoids oxidation (a process that results in high vitamin and nutrient loss). Additionally, they can extract juice from just about anything- vegetables, fruit, leafy greens and wheatgrass.
All Green Star juicers are the same juicers that simply come packaged with different accessories. That’s right- there is no difference between the actual juicers in GS-1000 or GS-3000. The model number is used to differentiate between the packages of attachments and accessories that come with the juicer.
Every model can also function as a homogenizer to make things like sorbet, nut butters, baby foods, pate and much more. Additionally, the GS-3000 comes with the necessary attachments to make bread sticks, rice cakes and pasta.
