The GS-1000 can juice wheatgrass very efficiently, which is hard to find. It has the reliability of Heavy Duty Twin Gear technology, but does not sacrifice nutrition by using high speeds. Green Star uses model numbers to differentiates between the sets of accessories that come in their juicers packages. However, the juicers in every package are the exact same machines.  

The Green Star 1000 is the Basic Package that comes with a Green Star juicer, all the necessary cleaning tools, and an Open Blank for homogenizing. It is ideal for people who are interested in making very nutritious juice and snacks, but do not want the extra attachments for making pasta and breadsticks.
