The Omega 1000 is Omega’s basic juicer. It is a centrifugal juicer with a very high extraction rate, which means it will squeeze every drop of juice from your fruits and veggies!

If you are just getting into juicing, this is excellent for the amateur juicer! It works very well with crispy fruits and vegetables (such as apples, pears, carrots, celery, etc) but is not intended for leafy greens. However, it is extremely easy to use!

This juicer is designed for people who plan to juice a few glasses at a time, not massive quantities at once. Therefore, after every quart or so, you will have to empty out the pulp. This is not a problem when juicing for a few people, but if you are going to juice large quantities often, I would suggest a pulp-ejection juicer (Omega 4000).

If you plan to juice mostly fruits and vegetables in moderate portions, the Omega 1000 is an excellent choice!
